* In optics for 13 years

* Currently in practice in the southern highlands with my wife Thao (optometrist) for 6 years

* We met in Nepal on an aid camp. One son, Ly.

* Involved with the ADOA board for 3 years

* Co-ordinator of Nepal ad Mongolian Eye Project for Rotary since 2005 and acknowledged by Australian Government for reduction of poverty and assisting in sustainable development in 2007

* Awarded Paul Harris Fellow in 2008 for overseas aid work in Nepal and Mongolian Eye Camps.

* Currently studying Bachelor of Science (Physics)

* Attained Bachelor of Arts (Honours in Ethnomusicology)

* Interests include physics, guitar, rock climbing and aid work
